Wow, leaves-you-speechless kinda good!

Cameron owner and winemaker John Paul is an Oregon original. Actually, an original period! Since the late 1980’s, John has stayed true to form, meaning, he does his own thing. His wines are striking, and frankly, there’s nothing really like them. For better or for worse, they are the type of wines you either really love or don’t, not a lot of in between ground. He makes no apology for this, it’s just the way he is. The wines are perpetually sold out due to the very limited production and we’re just happy to get our hands on a bit before they are snatch up by rabid fans!

The Abbey Ridge vineyard is located off of Warden Hill Road directly upslope from the Cameron winery. It’s high elevation Dundee Hills fruit that year-in, year-out captures perfectly the essence of what makes this AVA so unique. The aromatics of 2009 Pinot Noir are floral and exotic, leading to a mouthful of bright, creamy and richly textured fruit. Amazing now, however, given 6-8 years in the cellar and trust me, it’ll blow your mind!
