J. Albin 2007 Brut Rose
In honor of our very own Shannon Fitzpatrick’s recent graduation, we popped the cork on a bottle of pink bubbles. The 2007 J. Albin Brut Rosé was the perfect commemoration of her achievement. We love the yeasty complexity of this locally produced method Champenoise wine. It’s made from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from John Albin’s estate Laurel Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains. This high elevation, cool site ripens fruit slowly and maintains the incredible acidity so important to sparkling wines.
From first nose-tingling sip, Shannon commented on the “nice acidity and fine and vigorous mousse.” Coming from a Champagne aficionado this is quite the compliment. For just over $30, this beauty can easily hold its own against top tier Champagne!
We hope that you enjoy this world-class wine as much as we do.
Cheers!
Shannon and Kendra
