“A real beauty. This was a top vintage in Oregon. The color is deep ruby tinged with purple. Showing sweet black currant and cherry notes with wonderful fruit concentration, striking elegance, notes of spice, earth, mineral and still showing some new oak notes. It is a full bodied wine, a bit softer and slightly more evolved than the 2002 Upper Terrace, but very concentrated. We feel that this could turn out to be one of our all-time great Pinot Noirs from the original vineyard. It is approachable now but promises more revelations as it continues to evolve.
