You’ve been patiently waiting, and it has arrived! The 2009 Cameron Arley’s Leap Pinot Noir is being rolled out this week. Arley’s is a selection from the Abbey Ridge vineyard, which sits on the lesser known, some would say under-appreciated northwest slope of the Dundee Hills. This wine is made from a “younger” block on the vineyard planted around 1990. Bright, explode-out-of your-glass red fruit exudes a fresh zing of acidity while the power of the ’09 vintage comes through loud and clear. While the fall release of the Abbey Ridge Pinot Noir continues to WOW us (there’s less than a case left in the shop), Arley’s is every bit as delicious as we’ve come to expect from Cameron.
